The text is exactly the same, (no the "cuss words" aren't taken out of the kids version. If you can consider one utterence of the word "*****" and two of the word "b@stard" throughout the whole series "cussing".) The adult version's cover just has darker colours and more realistic art, so that adults can read HP on the train or what have you and not feel like an idiot who reads kids books. I don't really see the point, I mean it still has the words "Harry Potter" across the front of it in huge letters. I really hated the cover art on both British editions of DH, if I'm honest.

The difference between the "adult" version of Harry Potter and the regular version is that the adult version has a cover that appeals to adults more and the regular version appeals more to teenagers and children.

The only difference is the cover art. Marketing thought it would make it more acceptable to adults to read a version with a different cover.

the Adult Version Has A More "Sophisticated" look.
So that Adults can walk around with the book and not feel like theyre reading some kiddy book
Although i think the text is the same.
Thats basically it.

Nothing. The cover is just more "adult" i bought the adult one and wish I hadnt because when you take the dust jacket off it is a nasty black tome! I like looking at the pictures on the kiddies one because you can go "oh right so thats what that is"

There's no "adult" version, at least not written by J.K. Rowling. Or rather, we adults have been enjoying the same books you kids have. It really is a series for anyone at any age.
You may be thinking of the deluxe version, which has some fine art work in addition to the same text as the "regular."
