I've never tried it, but I doubt it. Bloody Mary is just a nickname for Mary Tutor, a queen of England. She killed so many people for not being Catholic, the people started calling her Bloody Mary.

It does not actually work but your mind will play tricks on you and it might make you think it does.
In reality "Bloody Mary" was actually Queen Mary Tudor daughter of King Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon, Daughter of famous King ferdinand and Queen Isabella of spain. She was refered to as bloody mary because of her violent attempts to eliminate the anglican reforms her father made in order to obtain a divorce from her mother so that he could marry Anne Bolyen.

Something that DOES work is wintergreen lifesavers. Take them into the bathroom so you have a good mirror. Turn off the lights and BITE them while looking at your mouth in the mirror. It is so cool.

I've tried it. It only works because you're expecting to see something in the mirror and so your brain plays tricks on your eyes. So technically, nothing really appears. it's still pretty freaky though!
