Harry discovers that Snape had loved his mother since they were little and even though he splattered Mudblood in her face, he apoligized for it.
A Horcrux is a piece of Voldemorts soul that is divided into 7 pieces in an object. So, if Voldemort dies, he uses a Horcrux to fill in his death. That is why Harry, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Ron, and Luna go destroy the Horcruxes.
They were on a journey to look for 7 Horcruxes. They were:

Harry himself

Malfoy gets married to a witch that was not mentioned and have a child named Scorpius.

the book starts by harry, Ron and Hermione looking for things they think voldermort is after but then realise he's after the most powerful wand which he believes makes him invincible.
basically there is a huge battle between Harry's followers and voldermorts death eaters at Hogwarts.
harry gives himself up to voldermort who kills him only harry doesn't really die it just kills the tie between them. harry then goes on to kill voldermort.
the book ends with harry having had children with Ginny Wesley and Ron and Hermione have children and Nevile longbottom is a professor at Hogwarts.

Harry dies, Voldermort becomes Minister for Magic. Ginny weasley was the final Horcrux and Harry had to chop her head off and wear her scalp as a hat for a year before the curse was broken. Snape is really Harry's dad and was horrible to him because he hadnt tidied his room before he got cursed by Voldermort. Trelawney marries the Centaur Firenze and they have some seriously mental looking kids (non goat type)

Dumbledore returns to due to his enchanted bus pass which had 2 more "get out of death free" vouchers unused.
