Yes you still have to go and you go to the hospital to give birth but then you are brought back to jail after. (I dont know this from experience of anything just from TV). Also I think when you are pregnant you stay with other woman who are pregnant I dont think you are with all the other woman. When you give birth there is 3 things that can happen, your baby can be taken away and given to a relative, your baby can be taken away and go into a foster home or you can take care of your baby in prison they have a special program for that and you have to be qualified by a judge.

Read this it has a lot of info about jail and pregnancy, I wasnt able to copy and paste it sorry.

Yes, pregnant women are sentenced to jail and do serve.

They receive their prenatal care through the prison system, and when it is time to deliver they are taken to the hospital with a guard on duty at all times. After the baby is born, it is usually placed in the care of the state although in some circumstances a family member may be able to claim custody. The mother returns to jail/prison upon discharge from the hospital.

There are very, VERY few prisons that have programs for mothers who are in prison to keep their children. These are highly controversial, however, and as I said-very few.

the court system doesn't care if you were stupid enough to get into trouble with the law while pregnant, if what you did was bad enough then yes, you will go to jail and yes, you will give birth and if you don't have any family that social services feels can care for the baby then it will be put into foster care.

Yes you would still go to jail, and have your baby at a hospital. Your baby would be put with a relative or into foster care if there is no relative to take care of them.

Yes you'd be pregnant in jail. It happens all the time.

The bad thing though is depending upon why you were put in there, you could have your baby taken away immediately after birth. There are moms who are allowed to keep their babies with them but their ability to be responsible mothers is carefully considered by the judge who sentenced them.
