Those three letters can stand for a number of different things. I know of one abbreviation that has not yet been mentioned. Prostitutes use the term GFE to indicate they offer a particularly special level of service. It stands for GirlFriend Experience. Presumably a prostitute who offers GFE service will treat her customer as he could expect to be treated by his girlfriend.

Good Faith Estimate: A good faith estimate, referred to as a GFE, must be provided by a mortgage lender or broker in the United States to a customer, as required by the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). [1] The estimate must include an itemized list of fees and costs associated with the loan and must be provided within 3 business days of applying for a loan.

**Wikipedia has explanation for various uses of the abbreviation, GFE; Gas-free Engineer, Group Focus Enmity, e.t.c.

In the finance and mortgage industry it's know as a Good Faith Estimate. When you apply for a mortgage the broker should by law give a GFE within three days.
The GFE has the breakdown for the cost involved with borrowing money. It shows brokers fees, taxes, insurance and interest payments among other things.

GFE is the new movie rating. Good For Everyone. Because G is generally associated with movies that are not fun for adults, but recently we have seen shows like Finding Nemo and Monster House, that adults and children enjoy.

Did I get it right?

Depends on where you saw it.
GFE can stand for GirlFriend Experience with an escort.

Well, I see that it is a file extention (.gfe) like (.jpg); though I'm not sure if that is what you are looking for...it stands for 'game file extractor' in most instances.

Presumably you would have to have a program that is compatable with .gfe files in order to open other .gfe files.

At the moment, I am not privy to which ones are available but I did see one where you could download:

Edit: I found more information on .gfe:
