Consider this analogy.
Okay you can walk; you could probably run a short distance; but would you run a Marathon next week?
Of course not - you will need practice.
The same applies with high heels. You need to suceed with a given height before moving on to something higher.
And remember, we are all different. Just because I can comfortably wear a 4" heel (and higher), does not mean you can! When you get to your limit, then accept it - do not become a fashion junkie - clothes, and that includes shoes, should be comfortable.

girl...high heels are cool because those twigs on t.v wear them all the time! If your not comfortable in them..dont wear them. I understand beauty before pain but not when it comes to my feet!!! I have tried heels and it is a no go for me! I usually wear 3 inch wedges instead. it gives the same effect but with less pain. high heels are just a twisted ankle waiting to happen! Just wear whats best for you and if 5 inch stilletos arent it..so what you can still look cute in flats!!!

lol.. i'm only 14 and i can wear high heels perfectly!.. maybe you can just start wearing lower heals then add the height to them as you get used to wearing the old ones.. eventually you'll be able too.
