Nobody really knows. I hope everybody stays safe and nobody gets hurt. Aren't you worried about everybody in the country?

This is exactly the question that the country is struggling over now. This may not be the answer you are looking for but I think there is a real possibility that the fanatical Muslim extremists are planning, as we speak, to kill large numbers of American citizens on our soil.
They were largely successful on 9-11 and since then dozens of other attempts have been made and stopped. The media doesn’t highlight these successes very often and completely ignore most of them. For what reason, I don’t have a clue. They’re Americans and I don’t know why they are not concerned about future events. Even to the point of trying to be nice to and protect those terrorists captured is a mystery to me.
Yes, they will continue to try to attack us and if we do not stay vigilant, they are going to succeed. The less vigilant, the larger the attack. Their targets are areas that would do the greatest damage to both our economics and our people. You can figure out WHERE for yourself.
There is absolutely no reasonable and clear thinking defense against this analogy, sorry.

No one can be 100% sure either way, but you have to remember this; we have to be right every single time we go after these monsters, they only have to be right once. So in all likelyhood, the answer (although like I said, no one can be positive one way or the other), is more likely, yes we will be hit again, and probably hit hard.
The only safe places to be, I suppose would be small remote towns in the middle of nowhere - essentially somewhere not worth hitting.
But look, we can't be scared or frightened, not because they say "that means the terrorists have already won" but because what good will it do? Just carry on as normal, you don't worry about getting shot, or being in a car accident do you? and they are more likely to happen to any of us, so we just stay out of trouble-areas, and drive safely, that's the best that any of us can do.

Nobody really knows for sure, but it's always a possibility. However, I'm sure that D.C. is probably one of the safest places as it is our nation's capitol and security is at its highest level there.
And for those of you who don't know/understand. Washington D.C. is very close to the state of Virginia so it all depends on which part of VA you live. If it's close to D.C. (Woodbridge, etc) then you might not be as safe as other areas.

I think we're safe at least until 2008 when we get a new President.
If our next President is a Democrat then the gates of hell will open and all of it's forces will be unleashed onto us.
All hell will break lose.
But if our next President is anything other than a Democrat then everything should remain relatively safer for us.

Part of being alive is never being completely safe.
Not matter where you live- you are always in some kind of danger.
It's better not to give up your liberties for a false sense of security.

Who knows what the government is covering up. I would say DC and Chicago were targets, but have been for the last few years, so I wouldn't worry too much.

More of a chance in DC of course. Not much chance in the other places. Are we going to have one? Sooner or later, it seems to me they like to wait for new governments to come in and then they strike just to show they can, and take the measure of the new government.

don't worry about terriorists- people continues to try and create issues for this country but there is soooo much security that there should be no problem- there hasn't been an attack in soooooo long AND people have tryed to attack and have failed because security is SO high, there's hardly any risk to ride on a plane never mind be on the ground :]
