can you use tea bags instead of indian almond leafs for bettas?

Different tannins, but tea will in fact have a similar pH lowering effect on the water. Be very sure to use pure tea, no flavorings etc.

yea, it would be a bad idea.

get the real thing or dont use the teabags as they can be different and harmful to the betta.

the almond leaves are good for making the scales hard for plakats and good for breeding, but you dont really need it.
