Go work out for a bit, it always helps me feel a little more upbeat when I'm feeling under the weather. Some pilates or some good cardio should get you going again....and make you a little happier from the release of endorphins! :)

Pamper yourself! Take a nice relaxing aromatic bath. Put creams all over you. Hydrate your hair. Put your pajamas on, watch some movies or fun TV series drink a hot cup of tea and some chocolate to rise up your endorphins.

Listen to some happy music. Go see a funny movie. Watch TV. Hang out with your friends. Anything but drugs.

Do something nice for someone else. Really, when we give to others we always get something nice in return--a smile, a hug, or just the satisfaction of knowing that we've done something for someone.
OR, you can do something nice for YOU--a facial, a manicure, a walk, playing with your cat or dog. When we're blue, it's important to be especially kind to ourselves.

Go somewhere where other people are--like the mall, the movies, etc. And don't let being alone prevent you from doing things other people usually do with others. You'll be happier when you give yourself more options. Oh, and running, exercise and sports Do help also.

Be still and ask yourself "why?". There IS an answer to that question, most likely a series of answers, one leading to another, keep asking the "why". Once you face it consciously its hold on your mood tends to fade. But trying to avoid it or change the subject just puts it off.
