Due to a suspended game.So on the record for youngest to 500Hrs they will put 32 years instead of 31? That sucks how do you feel about this do you think this is fair?if so explain why.

Well, it does suck for him, but that is the rule. Just like if someone who was in a 10 game hitting streak and went O for 2 in a suspended game, it wouldn't count, so his streak would still be alive. So it works both ways.

Read the Story All the way he didn't hit it. If he does hit one today then the one he hit Wednesday against the Royals will count as number 500 instead of 499. But he has to hit a home-run against Baltimore first.

The game to which you're referring was started on June 28th, but then play was suspended. When the game is resumed, all stats will be counted as if they were accumulated in that game.

Therefore, if ARod hits a homerun, it will be backdated to June 28th, making that homerun 499 since, in the statistical world, it occured BEFORE the HR he recently hit, making that HR #500.

And who cares, it all adds up the same way.

I'm confused but he will be the youngest to hit 500 hr i don't care when he hit it at age 31 or 32 i just want him to hit it

Well, he hit the hr when he was 31 so it should be recorded he hit it when he was 31. I can see where they put an asterik on that one explaining the date the HR was official & when it was actually hit.

if he is 31 and 364 days vs. 32 and 0 days, who cares?

That's a pretty petty distinction.

Oh, by the way, Mr. Rodriguez is cheating on you.

Fair? Sure. That's how the rules are spelled out. It may be weird, but it is certainly fair.
