Sheffield is much nastier than Schilling, okay Sheffield made some comments about the Yankees manager being racist, okay but you dont here saying dumb stuff all the time like Schilling. Yes Sheffield was nastier with what he said but Schilling is just hater hater hater and probably will always be. Plus Kenny Lofton even backed Sheffield up with what he said.

I think they're both about equal. I'm really starting to get sick of Schilling always starting these big controversies. I respect Schilling as a pitcher (I'm a Red Sox fan, so I kind of have to), and I thank him for bringing Red Sox Nation a World Series. However, I just wish he would learn to keep his mouth shut! First, he started the thing with the bloody sock. Hello, that was years ago! Move on! Yes, it was great, but stop bringing attention to it. You'll either look really vain, or like you think that's the only way people will pay attention to you. I feel embarrassed for his whole family after the whole Bob Costas interview. Curt, just focus on your rehab assignment, and get back to Boston!

Sheffield also needs to keep his mouth shut. How can you call Joe Torre a racist? I think Joe Torre is one of the greatest managers of all time! I think the Yankees are far from racist! Bernie Williams was black, was he not? Hideki Matsui is Japanese, and so is Chien Mien-Wang. Jorge Posada is Hispanic, and I assume Melky Cabrera is. Did you know Johnny Damon is half-Thai? Sheffield needs to focus more on helping the Tigers get to the play-offs, instead of bringing up his past.

Sheffield plays the race thing. I saw him on Stephen Smith's show last year talking about a racial issue.
Schilling is outspoken about a number of issues. Ed Wade once said every five days he's a horse, the other four he's a horse's ***. Schilling doesn't bother me. I think he has political aspirations in Mass or NH after he retires.

Deffinantly Sheffield. I was watchin the best of mike and mike after the bronx is burning the other day and i heard Sheffield calling Joe Torre a raceist and i didn't think that thatwas to awfully fair do to the fact that Joe Torre is an Italian. and because he trats derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez as any other player so i think he was just talkin smack.

Sheffield. He is a lot more nastier. Here is a man, who said if the Yankees traded him, he would not play for another team. He loved being on the Yankees so much, he wanted to stay. Since being traded to Detroit, he is just spewing sour grapes. Detroit is doing fantastic, but Gary wanted to be a Yankee, till the end of his career. He also knows that there are more opportunities, being a Yankee retiree, than any other team.

wow tough question. I would go with Shilling because Sheffield isn't as big a hypocrite but it is close. Shilling just makes fun of whoever he wants and then if he might get in trouble he says that he didn't mean it or something stupid like that.
