Is there something on facebook that lets you know when someone's read your message?

No. Thats really the beauty of facebook: added privacy.

Sometimes it comes up as 'seen' at so-and-so time at the bottom of the message I sent. Not sure if this means it's been read or just the usual Facebook misleading confusion! I wish they'd come up with a way of finding this out.

nope and u cant' tell if there on your profile or lookin on anything and they cant read your messages on inbox only on your wall
