If a celebrity were to unexpectedly die today, who do you think would leave the most impact on society as a whole?

All of the celebrities in your question died or were found in an unusual way or were unsolved, or were young, etc. Elvis was found dead on a toilet. Princess Diana was being chased by the papparazi. The circumstances surrounding Marilyn Monroe's death were sketchy and a presidential coverup was suspected. James Dean was young and a rumor was started that his car was cursed. I think that's what really made these deaths stay in the media for so long. They were icons in life and then had extremely strange deaths. I think it's a combination of those two things that keeps the stories fresh in our minds. There are any number of icons today that would remain in the media for a long time if they died under strange circumstances.

I think the media would make a big thing out of Oprah dying, or maybe Julia Roberts or any big star if they died very tragically.

Hugh Laurie and Milo Ventimiglia. They are my favorite actors and love them very much. I love and appreciate their work so much. I don't know which celebrity death would effect everyone, because there's not one celebrity that everyone loves. People have different opinions.
