Michael Vick has not been found guilty of anything as of right now, and yet so many people are calling for him to be booted from football and are demanding sponsors drop him etc. Is it guilty until proven innocent? I am a middle aged white guy who happens to also be a dog lover and I support Vick 100% until he is actually found guilty. If he is found innocent will all the wacky animal rights activist drop everything and also apologize to Vick for all the hate mongering they have done towards him? Some how I highly doubt that. I can allready hear them say how if he is found innocent it is only because he is rich and can afford a good lawyer. Well you can't have it both ways. So when he is found innocent all you people that are ready to stone him throw that rock right back into your own face.

That is your fringe radical animal nuts for you. I have two awesome Great Danes that I love to death and the idea of dog fighting makes me a little ill. However I am not about to start shouting that Vick should loose his lively hood. He has only been accused and nothing more at this point and time. I think the case against the duke lacrosse players showed us how a prosecuting attorney can go way out of bounds just to get fame from a big case. Vick is innocent for now

All the comparisons to the Kobe Bryant and Lacrosse case end before they stop. One person was the star witness in those cases. This has many more facets. Regardless of that, the NFL and Falcons have a right to expect a certain conduct from a player and if he puts himself in situations like this they can fire or suspend him. Now in the courts that won't make you guilty. The evidence does. In the court of public opinion he is guilty, but the courts don't care. The thing that gets me though is those that say he is just being called out because he is black. No he is getting called out because their is evidence he committed a federal crime. Again like you I am neutral here and am waiting for all the facts before I say he is guilty or not. But the evidence is pretty overwhelming. Again that doesn't make him guilty and all this go to jail talk right now be damned. The courts and evidence will decide. Not the haters or supporters.

You are right on one point...In America a suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law...Unfortunately for Mr Vick that right only protects him from the government....He does not have the right to presumpytion of innocent when it comes to private business. His employers, sposors, etc have every right to sever ties with him if his actions (or even being associated with those actions) bring their bussiness into a bad light...... So are you proposing that if you have your child enrolled in school, and his teacher is arrested for having sex with a young boy, that teacher has a right to continue teaching until convicted? And you would feel so strongly about his rights that you would gladly have your child continue attending his class?....The NFL and companies like Nike are multibillion dollar bussinesses and will not risk losing money over this...... Once again the presumption of innocence only applies to protection from the government.

Cause dogfighting and dog murdering is such a disgusting crime, you have to have some serious evidence to federally indict them. There is a mountain of evidence against Vick, and these indictment cases end up in a guilty verdict 9 out of 10 times. There is a very high chance Vick is convicted.

Yes it's innocent until proven guilty. I just personally think that he was involved. I don't see how anyone could have that much going on at THEIR house whether they live there or not and not know about it. Everything will come out during the trial. BUT when he's proven guilty will you feel like a moron for defending him?

have you watched any of the reports and actually heard what was found and where? i think not- it is very compelling you are right on one thing though he still gets his day in court.who will apologize to the dogs who were killed or died during these sick horrendous fights,or to the ones who were put down because they are now too vicious to be trusted and must be killed because they were bred and raised to kill other dogs for people to bet money on and watch like a boxing match?i only want justice so i do not feel the need to suck up to a rich football player by ignoring facts or evidence, good luck.also many people say they were just dogs remember many serial killers start out hurting and killing innocent animals.would you feel the same if a serial killer killed someone you loved or a family member or a neighbor?and you find out the killer got his kicks for years fighting dogs or other cruelty to animals?i think the facts and evidence will speak for itself.

Ahmen. I love Vick and I can't imagine he is involved. If he is involved it will come out at trial. Until then I will support him.
