Avoiding eye contact is a much better way to tell than fidgeting. Its what the authorities use but professional liars can beat this.

Yes, and if he starts repeating your questions back to you before answering he's lying. Example: "Where have you been?" "Where have I been?" He is stalling for time and trying to come up with an answer!!!

Who knows, people react in different ways.
Maybe he was holding in a really big fart or had to sh!t and you just wouldn't shut up. Who knows.
