Cubs only have one good player? Thats why there is D Lee, Ramirez, Zambrano, Lily, The Riot, DeRosa, and all the other young guns who have stepped it up?

Personally, yeah I like there chances. I don't think they will win it all this year though. To be honest I am not sold on the pitching staff. From what I have seen they beat the teams they should but have to rely to much on the offense to bail them out against the better teams they play. I think Marquis and Hill, will get destroyed in the playoffs. I hope that I am wrong though. Other than that I think they are a pitcher away from being an elite team next year. Marshall looks good and if they keep Z, look out.

the cubs suck, there is no question about it
they will not make the playoffs, the brewers are way too good
even with sheets out until mid september the brewers will hold the cubs off easily.
i'd speculate that the cardinals will end up taking 2nd place as the cubs will choke on there 300 million dollars invested in scrubs.

They do have a chance the Brewers are falling apart the lead has decreased much. They will not win the world series but they will win the divison.
