I would do like 2 in the morning and 2 at night. It still equals up to four, and I think its kind of fool proof for overfeeding? Just my suggestion. good luck :]

Do about 2-3 pellets 1-2 times a day. They don't need to eat that much. Sometimes they wont eat for a few days, but don't be alarmed. They'll do that once in a while. Did you know betta's can live for 2 weeks without food?!

You should feed your betta all he can eat in 3-4 minutes. If that's 2 pellets then ok, if it's 10 then ok. He should get full and no one but you can tell that, all bettas are different.
I feed my fish twice a day, but once is fine too. Less often than that is just keeping the alive, not allowing it to thrive.

I find that for bettas, it's better to feed them smaller amounts more often than say, a large amount and then leave him for a few days. I feed mine HBH Betta Bites, which are also pellets, and I feed them about 4 pellets every day (instructions say 6-8 pellets twice a day) and fast them for one day every week.

i dont use that same kind of food, i buy HBH betta bites, but u shood feed it about 6-8 pellets [no more than 8, no less than 6], and about 3 times a week...i no on the back of the container i bought, it sed to feed it 6-8 pellets every day, which i found out wasnt rite the hard way...wen i died in less than a year...and i called petsmart and petco, and they sed they say that to use the pellets up quicker and make u buy more, but then they sed the real amount to feed them is 6-8 pellets, 3 times a week.

I feed my betta about 8 pellets once a day - I think the recommended amount is about 6 pellets twice a day, but mine was never hungry after being fed once, so I cut it down.

I would cut it down to 2 pellets a day and feed him 2 every day, Also a good idea to give him 1 or 2 treats a week such as bloodworms, brineshrimp, daphina, (frozen, freeze dried or live) He will enjoy that and it will bring his colours out more.
Good luck
