Why are girls always so mean to other girls?

Like, I posted a q just wondering what people would rate me(for the first time ever, I don't like that sorta thing but I was bored), and theres always someone that wants to be mean to those kinds of questions isnt there? Of course I understand if the girl thinks shes all that and thinks shes better than everyone else, or loves herself and comes accross as self-centered, then they probably deserve some negative comments. But I did NOT do that. It's like they study the picture carefully, look for something that stands out to be mean about(with their really bad ways of 'seeing' things) and then make a comment on it, completey ignoring anything nice/positive to say. I also seem to be getting more snidy looks off them in public. Girls tend to be more mean than guys, the ones that b*tch and make fun of people the most. Girls are real b*tches to eachother, don't you agree? I think a lot of the time its probably jealously.

Also I didn't ask for opinions on my looks, or to be honest lol I just wanted a rating number out of 10. It's silly I know.

And about asking those kinda q's, I agree it is to get compliments. But whats wrong in that? As we all know, we are extremely self-concious on their looks(a lot of the time why some girls take it out on others). And sometimes its nice to get a couple of compliments and a high rating, it just makes you feel good about yourself to know others find you attractive, you know? In general I got loads of nice things said though, but no one wants to hear anything nasty said about them!

But having said that, yes I am girl aswell and there are lots of things great about us too of course. But here we're discussing why they tend to be b*tches. I mean, we can't blame the hormones for everything, right? lol

Oh, you opened a can of worms here. I'm gonna lay it all out for you. Here goes; Women don't like women. Women don't have friends that are women. They have allies in the hunt for the perfect man. It's true, here's the proof;

All women say "Most my friends are guys. I just get along with guys better." True. Everyone gets along with guys better then women. Because women are extremely emotional, and two women is just too much emotion to deal with. Most women can't handle their own emotions, let alone some other chicks.

As soon as a women finds the man they've been looking for, they cut contact with their friends. Once there is a fight or a break up they call the friends again, but it's temporary. Once they find a new man they're gone again.

Without testicles, talking to girls just isn't worth it. Some lesbians will disagree with me, and that's fine. There is always going to be about 15% of the population that can't agree. Just look at President Bush. Even he has a 30%+ approval rating. If you only here static from 15% your onto something.

It's because girls, although they don't seem like it, are more competitive than guys. Also, guys like to be manly and straight up, coming 'in your face' kinda deal. Girls are more behind your backs, which men won't do because girls do it. Girls just wanna be on top with the most flawlessness, so they sneak attack and blame and hide and do all the snickery to make themselves look totally innocent and eveyone else like a kniving biotch. Also, some people are so tired of being beat up and hurt so they put other people down. They're the kind of people who can't let anyone have fun or have a win, because they're trying to destroy the fake innocence, thus going off at every little thing. It's very complex, and sometimes things are different. This is just what USUALLY happens/ is happening. Hope this helped!

I totally agree with you about how girls are. My daughter is 14 and the girls at her school are down right cruel. Just recently my daughter was molested by a 19 yr. old boy. Well, everyone is treating him like a king but treating my daughter like crap. These girls are acting like my daughter has a disease. She is a victim but they don't care. They do everything they can to hurt her feelings. I don't know why people raise their kids to be cruel to others. I use to work in our local school system and I see it a lot. It's mostly the junior high age kids that do it the worst.
We are teaching our daughter to be kind and loving to others but the world has made it to be where if your nice to everyone your a loser. I think if you are being nice to others, it will one day come back on you for the good. Like the old saying, what goes around comes around. Those girls will get what they deserve. Do your part in making the world a better place and you will be better than them in the long run.

Men and women are both like that, basically people like that are ignorant and don't have anything better to di with their spare time than to put others down. The likely reason for this that they are unhappy with their lives, they must lack something. Thus feelings of unworthlessness, jealousy, and other emotions that brings stupidity out of people. If you think that you are pretty then don't worry about these hatin a** h*es.

Girls are so mean to other girls for many reasons. Unlike boys, who settle arguments out in the open, girls are very passive-aggressive, they never actually settle arguments, but prolong them until one of them caves. This is due to many aspects of a girls life, most of them dating back to times when they were to be considered "ladies". Because of that past history and an adaption to that concept, girls are very silent and do not settle arguments, because that is what males do, and girls have always been portrayed as being different from men. Also, hormones might have a say in this, especially during teen years.

I think it's b/c most girls feel like they're in a contest with other females....It's like we ("we" meaning almost every female) have to find flaws with others..but some females r just bi#@hes who r jealous. But what r some females so jealous about? Men don't really do this to each other. Females are judgmental for some reason but you would think that we as women should learn how to stick up for each other instead of being in a competition. Also I think that the girls that act that way (stuck up, jealous,..) should just learn to get over themselves and grow up.

Girls want to feel important. Girls do not get the praise that boys do when they accomplish something. Also, girls cling or girls are more judgemental than boys. Make a friend or two that are boys. Don't be ashamed of it unless you are 9-11 years of age.
Don't give them a second thought they are petty. Yet, don't feel sorry for yourself. Find an activity or a skill to enhance with your spare time.

Word of advice - don't ask people to rate you if you aren't prepared to hear what they have to say. You're right, people can be cruel but if you put yourself out there to be judged you have to ignore it.

Alot of girls say things such as "rate me, be honest" and then when someone tells them they don't think they are pretty they freak out and report it etc (this has happened to me). So if you want to post your pic on the web and ask to be judged expect some negative feed back, and if you get some who cares anyways?? - these little cartoon characters on here shouldn't mean anything to you anyways.

And this is why i hang around guys. Ive grown up around guys! So it hits me hard when im around girls and realize how snobby or trashtalking there doing. Guys just dont care, they chill, play around, while girls have opinions on everything, backstab, b*tch around. Not that im saying we're evil beings or anything -im a girl! We're fun when we want to be but when the claws come out, things go crazy. So i guess thats why i try to keep my mouth shut so i dont get into a cat fight.
