Do you think his sense of smell is so good that he can pick up something we can't or is it something else like a sixth sense he was born with?

Perhaps people close to death emit a certain odor. Some physicians can actually smell early cancer on a patient. I know that hornets will re-sting someone whose pheromones they have picked up. And dogs have a sense of smell well beyond that of humans. It may simply be explained physiologically, rather than by pseudo science. I do know is that I would not mind if Oscar approached me at the end,nor would my kids. A pussycat is much more attractive and non-threatening than the Grim Reaper.

I believe they are born with a sense of some kind. My cat of three years is my baby & always laying with me "except" when my kids are ill. If they are ill, she stays with them until they are up and around. Wierd huh?

there are
birds that can tell when someone goes into an epileptic fit. dogs that can tell when someone is "going" to have a heart attach.
monkeys that can tell if there is carbon dioxide leaking into the house.

and so much more. now if our animals are so usefull, why so much abuse. can't we see they have so much more than we do?

Idk but I think the whole thing is so cool! Although, it would really freak me out if he even came near me. I think it's a sixth sense he has. Oh well, who knows?
