Agreed. The sad thing is real sports news is being ignored because of this situation. If they want to discuss a legal case they should go to the legal section. Vicks case is not a football matter.

That's what I'm thinking. I think we should let it be and let the legal procedures take care of that mess. I'm sick of hearing about it. I think it would be much more interesting to hear about how training camps are going and how the rookies are doing. Just let the vick thing rest.

yeah sure it's old news and besides there are more important things in football right? like who is going to be going to the superbowl this year. Some big ugly cup is more important to you than he life of a couple dogs huh? sounds like u need to get your priorities straight. These assholes
need to be taught a lesson in respect for other living creatures. Yeah he hasn't had his day in court yet but I'd bet you my bottom dolar he will be found guilty. in the mean time should we just forget what he did? and i suppose after he is convicted we should just forget again huh? because it will be "old news"? should we forget all the people who have been murdered because it's "old news"? why in god's name do you think humans are more important than any other animal on this planet?

Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law not the court of public opinion!
We decide guilt or innocents on every other case in the media before a trial, why should the Vick case be any different?
Side note - I'd like to see every ones thoughts on some of the questions I have ask. See my profile and thanks for the help!

I don't agree that its old news. Its old in football, but in general, its a celebrity train wreck. Like it or not, a celebrity train wreck increases interest. Now that training camps are opening there is a wealth of football news that will overtake the dog fighting story. That is as it should be. The whole thing should not be ignored and allowed to be in the dark through a trial. Our society is based in part on the openness of our legal systems.

Absolutely!!!!! He is old news and will be old before he ever plays football again. He is the example of complete stupidity, and will probably never regain his statue again, even if proven innocent, which he isn't.

This isn't old news, it is no news, the hippy peta homo's need to go do something useful with their life like maybe get a job. Chris Hansen needs to do a dateline speacial about catching peta people who are having sex with animals, that would be even better than to catch a preditor

YES!! That's pretty much all they talk about now on NFL Network. That would be the only thing they would talk about had Bill Walsh not died.
