thanks to a stay in the hospital last month, i missed a lot of work and i cannot pay my rent on the 1st. my landlord doesn't care, all he wants is his money. if there's anyone in the chicagoland area, do you have any jobs i can do to pay the rent? its due next thursday

Can you catch up by the end of August? It will take him longer than that to evict you. On late payment will not cost you the lease or do serious damage to your credit.
