i still jump and hide behind the sofa. sharks are my biggest fear. when i first watched jaws i wouldn't go to the loo in case a shark came up and bit my bum

No! I was terrified when I was a kid. I watched it lieing in bed one night and I had to go to the loo. My dad heard my footsteps as I ran along the landing and he shouted, "Watch that shark, any water is dangerous you know!"
I am ashamed to say that I was that frightened of it coming up the toilet and latching on to my ***, I pi**ed over the side of the bath for about a week! (I was only about 7 or 8 and before you start, I did wash the bath out properly!"

when i saw JAWS years ago (when it first came out at the cinema) the bit when the guy on the beach calls for his poor dog had me in tears. I left the cinema - then instantly wanted to return to see what happened and if they killed the shark. it is now one of my fave films.

It's usually the sofa, cushion just is'nt a big enough hiding place.

Originally saw it at the local cinema, the young woman behind jumped so much her knee almost laid me out, so for the rest of the film I had double the scares.

jaws is one of my favourite films as i loove sharks even since i was a little
though Dayne has found a gay shark on family guy, so when watching jaws tomorrow i won't be able to take it serious

LOVE Jaws, although it is an entirely false depiction of sharks...I 'm going diving with sharks asap!

Funny .... but no I can't. I always seem to look at the floor too, thinking a shark might be waiting for me to get off the couch!!
