Could be. I think that the majority of Americans are on to them now though. It will be that 30% or so of Americans who still refuse to think for themselves who will actually BELIEVE that Iran is behind it when told so, at this point.
Actually, it's almost time for them to bring in the "Outside Threat" that Ronnie Raygun spoke about, a threat from outside our planet that would cause us all to unite. So I wouldn't be surprised if they went that path either - it does seem a bit soon for that though.
I'd say the next to be blamed if it happens in the NEAR future will be a combination of Iran and Al Qaida.

Iran is unlikely to be blamed for the next terror attack - all current indications are that Al Qaeda or sympathizers under the Al Qaeda banner, are the most likely to make another attack on American soil. Iran hasn't made an attack on US soil since the takeover of the American Embassy in '79.

I wish they would hurry up and do it so I know my tax money isn't wasted. Iran has it coming. I hope the person who asks this question moves to Iran real soon so she can be there when the Americans move in.

Yes except for the staged part. anything terrorist related is now being "traced" to Iran. the funny part is the generals only reason for saying that iran is involved is that the attacks are more precise and better planned out. Well maybe the terrorist came up with better ideas and with practice have better aims now. You ever think about that general Petraeus you big loser.
