And how great has the Bush family involvement been in the military industrial complex since the first world war?

Our entire system of economics is based on a wartime economy. That savage who sits on a throne and his disreputable family has been profiteering off of murder and misery for years. They were bosom buddies with Hitler. They vandalized ethics, scandalized morality, and sodomized truth. Now the little creep who can't stand criticism goes after Michael Moore who has exposed him, his lackeys, and their illigitimate, incestuous, and criminal associations with his Big Business Cronies, lobbyists, and special interest groups that have robbed and burglarized the public for years.

War is everything to the MIC. That is how they make the majority of their money! They encourage war, and play both sides against the middle, and finance both sides. They also decide the outcome of each war, or whether there will even be an outcome. They don't want the thing in Iraq to ever end.
Also, the Bush family is involved in the Military Industrial Complex up to their eye balls, probably as long as there has been a Military Industrial Complex! *sm*

Actually, you seem to be forgetting that the economy was doing fine at the end of the Clinton administration and early in the Bush Administration. If war is so good for business, why'd the market drop 300 points yesterday?

The military industrial complex is a fallacy. Most companies that sell to the defense department are diverse enough that they don't exist solely on such contracts. Additionally, the equipment wears out, so we don't need war to keep buying equipment.

A better question might be: How important is the military-industrial complex to a post-industrial economy?

Without war there wouldn't be any military industrial complex. I don't know the Bush ties to it, but it wouldn't surprise me to find out. I know Cheney's neck deep in it as is Wolfowitz, and ol' Rummy. When we were warned of the Military Industrial Complex most people probably scoffed about it, but looking back the warning needed to be taken more seriously. More money goes to weaponization than to the poor, especially in third world countries.

Prescott Bush was a convicted Nazi collaborator. He was a large financial supporter of Hitler. I'm sure "W" is proud of his Grandfather! G.H.W. Bush was involved in the J.F.K. assassination. He was photographed standing in front of the Texas Book Depository bldg. just minutes before the shooting started. He had denied even being in Dallas that day.

The Bush family has been selling weapons and ammo to anyone with a buck for over 80 years.

Why do you think Osama was pissed off? He got cut out of those huge arms deals Reagan/Bush brokered in the 80s. bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Ayatollah Khoumaini - all customers of BushCo!

Not to mention - the USA taxpayers funded the R&D costs on these weapons systems - who got the profit? BushCo!

Oh gosh, you wouldn't want to talk about the military industrial complex. Just thinking such a thing exists makes you insane. I guess Eisenhower and JFK were "wackos" too.

Very important and right on schedule. The Bush Crime Family have been dealing with the enemy since continuing business relationships with Nazi Germany even though we had declared war on them. At least they benefited from slave labor and death.
