What will an all out war between Israel and Syria mean for our nation?

The latest news apparently is that the Syrians have been massing troops on the Syrian-Israeli border.

Syria has been demanding the return of the Golan Heights. As for what it would mean for America: I sincerely hope that America would again prove a staunch ally to Israel, the sole democracy in the Middle East.
