I asked before if their were any blood or urine tests that could identify mental disorders...I got a resounding NO. Now I ask, since thier is no pysiological tests for mental disorders and the diagnosis of mental disorders is strictly a matter of "medical opinion" Who if any has cured a mental illness?

I don't think someone could say that have cured something that cannot be diagnosed or measured (I know that there's the DSM to diagnose these disorders, but the measurements are not as reliable as, say glucose or blood pressure). Also, you cannot cure what you cannot understand, and that's the biggest problem with mental illness: no one know for sure what's happening inside that brain.

I have been cured of a mental illness.

I can't figure out why you are asking these questions to regular people on the internet. What is your motive? What is it that you're looking for?

There are tests to determine ones' mental state, but you really need to ask a psychiatrist, or go to the library and research it. Or, research it on the internet. Chances are that not many psychiatrists have either the interest or time to come to Yahoo's Q&A forum to answer questions like yours.
A mental disorder is not strictly a matter of "medical opinion" so whoever told you that is a nutcase. You need a better source for information than you will find in this forum.

Next time you pose a question, please be more specific & give more details. I don't know what in the heck you really want.

I just read your profile. If you love to learn, why not try learning how to spell.

It is the word "cured" that has it all messed up. It is general and means from a state of uncomfortableness to comfortableness.
There are plenty of psychological test for this. In fact there is no test in existence that does not include the psychological activity.
Psychological activity is involved... from the removing of the contradictions that now facilitate the fast interpretation of psychological descriptions utilized in the development of systems that attend to the understanding of discomfort and ways to improve the quality of the avoidance of that disease. A "cure" in that case means the ability of the personality subject to the situation to control it's own individual destiny. Free will choice and in that case can only mean a contemporary solution to a phenomenon that required some categorically astute attention on the part of the subject. A cure just means a change for the better.

Unlike mental illness itself, the study of mental illness is a relatively new field. Scientists are only beginning to understand how the brain works, and the various drugs used to treat mental illnesses are still in their infancy. To date we cannot cure schizophrenia but there is no denying that schizophrenia is a true, if not common, illness that can be diagnosed by competant mental health professionals who, whether you believe it or not, have strict guidelines that they follow to make the diagnosis; it is not simply a matter of "medical opinion". Like physical diseases we cannot cure (AIDS, emphysema, diabetes, ebola, etc), mental illnesses can only be treated but this does not lesson their reality nor change the fact that we should continue to examine ways to eventually cure those inflicted.
