No. What they really need is an uprising. If there were violent insurrection, that would be sufficient justification to declare a long-standing state of martial law, which could then be rolled over into some sort of military coup or fascist takeover.

How sad that you choose to blame America, and actually believe Americans would do that, rather than blame the real culprits and those who commit terrorism around the world.

I supposed we were behind the Madrid train bombings? The savage attacks in Russia in that school and the theater? The attempted London bombings recently?

Boy with all the people that must have been involved with the 9/11 conspiracy, from the demolitions guys to the people faking phone traffic, and people planting wreckage at the Pentagon, you would think one of them would repent and confess, or get drunk and brag about it by now.

Hurricane Katrina was just a dry-run for martial law!

Remember when they was going door to door, slamming people on the floor and taking their guns?

The next big disaster (whether it be a false-flag or some other kind of natural disaster) will be a precursor to declare martial law.

Didn't Bush here just recently give himself executive powers to declare martial law anytime he seen fit?

Oh yes, I think he did!!

What?
You assume the government has a goal of enacting martial law. Care to provide some factual evidence for that assumption? You have none? What a surprise! I'm just devastated. (Sarcasm--if you didn't pick up on it.)

Since they haven't staged a first one, and they could have easily installed Martial Law on 9/11 if that was the goal and they didn't. I'm saying no.

nobody staged a terrorist attack, get over it. Why would they need to enact martial law? there is no reason for it it is not like people are rioting in the streets over the war.

Yes, we would have to be under attack, although I question your 'statement'.

Will you come back and apologize when our new President goes into office in '09?
