GW is a champion to those who never quite caught on to what was being taught in school. He may be somewhat smarter than his handlers allow him to appear to be so that he can keep on getting support from the jocks in the back of the classroom. If real life were a frat party, we'd be in great shape.

I don't think you can call him successful. His approval rating is in the toilet, isn't it?
Approval rating isn't everything. Sometimes the nation needs unpopular things done, and that won't help your popularity out much. But he is on another level.
One thing you can say about the man in a positive manner (of sorts) is that you know where the man stands. He is a steadfast man, and that can be good if it is for the right reasons. Too bad none of his reasons have been right yet.
