Katie Holmes is adorable and doesn't require tons of make-up. Nicole, on the other hand, always looks pasty and unnatural. She seems like some expressionless statue.

I'll take you shorty, but out of the two Katie is way hotter than and younger then kiddman, the only time Nicole looks good any more is after her makeup man and stylist get done with her, and even then she needs some airbrushing!!

That is kinda like comparing apples to oranges... They both have very different types of beauty... Katie is more of a cute, and fresh beauty, Nicole is a graceful, classic beauty... Both are too good for Tom Kat!
