i had a wacky plan to make a giant kite just for spite and to see if i could accomplish it. more or less likely i tried to draw designs of the kite but they have all faced the shredder. im stumped on what material i would use for ascending the huge kite and where would i get it. if anyone has any insight on my silly yet fun goal, let me know. it would be greatly apriciated

Use a proper plan for a huge kite, and make sure you know what to expect in the draw strength of the kite.
(Some people have been lifted over houses just by a kite!)

You can purchase parachute silk at army surplus stores. I would use bamboo for the sticks and 50lb test fishing line for the string.
