yep....it's because he's black
not because he's been a prick for a long time....flipping off fans and getting caught with pot (he got away with that one remember...)
and it's certainly not because he's being charged with such an inhumane thing....
nope.........it's because he's black
this asinine thing has been said about 20 times in the last 3 days
and it's as pathetic of an argument this time as it was all of those other times

I highly disagree. Animals getting seriously injured or even killed for entertainment is a serious crime and it's a very sick thing. It upsets me, especially being a pet owner. If Brett Favre had done the same thing, then he would be treated harshly as well.
The seems that the only people who feel that Vick is being treated unfair are some of the fans of either the Falcons or Vick.

What does racism and being black have to do with the guy being under federal investigation for dog fighting? If I had been caught in an airport with bong water, do you think I would have walked out a free man? Besides......I didn't hear anybody complaining about racism when he signed a 10-year / $150 million contract with the Falcons with a $27 million signing bonus!

Now in the court of law he wouldn't be treated any different, but as far as media and public, I do think he would be treated differently. I just don't get why everybody likes to jump on bandwagons so quick. The guy has not been convicted of anything and should not be judged based on media reports. None of you cats were there and saw what happened. I'm not saying he didn't do or know anything, I'm just holding my judgement until the verdict comes out. Then we will have enough time to bash this guy if he is convicted. So what if it comes out that he is innocent, will you all apologize? I doubt it.

Absolutely. I'm gonna let you in on a little secret---- When white people go into a store and the clerk is white and there isn't any black people around-- we get whatever we want for FREE. And if a white person commits a crime and a white cop catches them--- they just let us go. That's why white people have more money and there's more black people in jail.

No, I don't agree with you. In fact, if the extent of the operation turns out to be true, the authorities will have been pretty easy on him.

TOTALLY DISAGREE and I'm a Black man who sees racism everywhere.
There are plenty of racial undertones, in sports but this isn't one of them.
I think black people are a little more sensitive to racial issues and a little less affectionate about their dogs.
But this is an issue of Common Sense or lack of common sense,
example. even if you think weed should be legal, you don't let your friends grow it in your back yard.
Big mistake.

No I don't agree. You are WRONG. Get it through your head. Not every prosecutor and judge in every court system in America is a racist who hates black people. And there aren't seperate laws for whites and blacks. He is accused of serious federal crimes.
