I prefer to pull it out a little early. I hate it when it's left in too long and it explodes and makes a mess everywhere. Microwaves are a pain to clean.

i have to pull it out before it's done.. because if i leave the popcorn in the whole 5 mins it burns...... oh wait ..what were YOU talking about?
