They don't say that anymore, it's just "natural causes". I guess they can say that once you hit 40 or 50 since you could have a heart attack or stroke.

Good point. Check your local hospital for their policy regarding resuscitation. I would say 85 is 'old age' but know for a fact that after about 75, hospitals would rather not resuscitate patients who have medical complications that trigger stroke or heart attack. This is why it is important that a family have a 'living will' for an elderly member. A 'living will' stipulates what should be done in these kinds of circumstances. Believe me, hospitals are only too willing to 'push the elderly off the cliff', so to speak.
Another fact you might be interested in is that most medical expenses are incurred by a person during the last six months of their lives.

Age is all relative. I know some people in their early 20's that are older than some in their 80's. So, I think you die of old age when you've stopped truly living and experiencing new things.

You have to be very old in this day in age. Heck my grandfather is going to be 95 this October and he is still teaching full-time at a major university - even one of his famous former students - Alan Greenspan - has retired.
Good Luck!!!
