i love nickleback!
people bash them because nickleback is one of the only bands that dont want to write songs about being "too hot for you" like every other bands do. i went to one of their shows and they were sooooo nice! they were so cool to everyone there. kids were throwing stuff at them and cussing them out, and they were like, "god bless" ! i have never seen such a professinal, well put together band as nickleback.
their songs mean something.

Their first album was....... so yesterday. All of their songs sound like the same music, but different lyrics, and they need some new things to write about! That's why people bash Nickleback!

there used to be a website that played two nickleback songs at the same time... This is how you remind me and their second hit... can't remember... and they sounded EXACTLY the SAME. Only the words changed.
that, and the band members are total jerks. I was out in a parking lot after their concert, and they started making fun of my car.
From then on, I pretty much hated them.
That song photograph is WEAK too...

Because all of their songs are exactly the same
But there's this new band called HinderNicklebackCreed3DaysGraceDaughtry.
Ever heard of them?
Every single one of those bands sounds alike. it's sickening that original sounding bands only come along every 5 or 10 years.

I usually try my hardest to follow the mantra of suck and let suck, but these questions tempt me too much. Bands like Nickelback, Hinder & Puddle of Mudd represent this group of mutant mullet-headed white-trash garbage rock. Hear one Nickelback tune, you have heard them all. Who else could write such powerful lyrics like these?

And I like the dirt that's on your knees
And I like the way you still say please
While you're looking up at me
You're like my favourite damn disease
I LMAO when I hear that, except for the fact that they didn't mean it as a joke. Very classy tune and I am sure the ladies can get with that. Then the rest of time it's back to guns, bullets and whiskey.

I personally think that their music is generic sounding and cheesy. I agree with the other posters too that everything sounds the same. They appeal to the Middle America demographic that claims that they like "rock."

Most of their songs tend to utilize the same 4 chord progression in different keys. I would never have believed that they would still be selling the same crap, but it seems to work because they are HUGE!! Here we are talking about them....go figure.

because it sounds like the lead singer is gargling gravel.
and whenever i hear a new song i think i've heard it before because they all happen to sound the same.

because of the lead singers voice...thats personally, my problem with them
and yes, all of their songs sound the same
