They already built as many as 4 bombs between the time that Bush walked away from his agreement and early this year when they they reached a new agreement. So now N Korea has the best of both worlds: a few nuclear weapons and the heating oil and other trade and aid from the US.

I'm not so sure that Kim's a lunatic when it comes to the basic defense and other interests of his country. After all, the same people who told us this told us that Iraq had an active nuclear program.

We'll have to wait and see whether Kim Jong Il honors his future promises. Bush took the hard line with Kim a couple of years ago, and he was the one who broke the agreement. As long as they're under the eyes of the inspectors, they won't be building more nuclear bombs.

N. Korea will keep that hustle going for years. They shot a test missle over Japan a couple of years ago which didn't sit well with the Japanese at all. If he won't back down, Supply Japan with everything they need to knock North Korea down a few pegs.

I don't trust north Korea since they didn't keep there end of the bargain when Clinton tried to get a agreement with them but, I hope I'm wrong and they do keep there side of the deal. To get rid of Kim I would send Jack Bauer to assassinate him.

Sure they will honor their promises to us. And they will sell each of us a share in the Brooklyn Bridge too.

Seriously, Kim Jong-il is the biggest liar on the planet at the moment. Unfortunately, the only way to get rid of him is to starve him out and that would kill hundreds of thousands of innocent North Koreans. So, either we take him out via assassination, or we have to wait 40 years.

I wouldn't trust North Korea if they told me the sky were blue.

They will continue advancing their nuclear weapons programs no matter what deals are made at the diplomatic table. To think otherwise would be foolish.

They promised Clinton they would not build the bomb - and they did. There is no reason to trust them again. I do not understand why we even deal with the little dictator. The simple answer would be to ignore him 100%, demand our allies drop trade with him or drop trade with them. Who would they rather trade with - us or them - that answer is quite clear. The same with Iran.
