I have these friends who think that sitting on cold surfaces, such as a cold chair or cold concrete, will cause a woman to develop cancer. I guess they think that exposing our womanly parts to such cold conditions can cause cancer in those areas. Has anyone ever heard of this?

It sounds like a load of bunk to me. WHERE do people get this crud from?

Cancer is genetic and environmental (foods, exposure to radiation or chemicals, etc), NOT caused by external environmental effects such as clothing worn or the type of chair a person sits in.

Tell your friends to produce FIRM documentation of this crap or tell them to can it. There is ZERO relationship between cancer and sitting on anything...unless you're sitting on Plutonium or something!!
