Its not a sin - everybody does that - men and women - its actually good for you - orgasm releases "feel good" hormone, promotes healing, relieves tension etc.

Here is something to think about when you sin.
1. what does the sin do to your spirituality?
How far will that sin take you from your belief? That is what sin is, it's something that separates us from the Holy Ghost because when we sin the Holy Ghost can not dwell in us and we must repent.
2. Does this sin become a practice that will control us?
This is the second danger of sin. Once it controls us it will make us ashamed and we will start to become less christian and more evil.
3. Does your sin cause others to fall from grace as well?
Sin doesn't just affect us. It also affects those around us. If we are causing others to sin as well then we may cause one of them to loose their faith as well.
God doesn't want to restrict your joy. He knows that if you follow his teachings you can be happy. But you have to pray to him and allow him to help you. You need to talk to him, even if it feels like you don't deserve it, you do! He loves you as a son and will forgive a sin you over come. He will also help you over come it. But don't try to over come sin by your self. Have others in the church help you. You need to find some one to talk to.
The first step is to find a church that can help you be a Christian in the truest sense.

As a christian who has read the bible many times I hope i can help you. Nowhere have I found in the Bible that says you should not masturbate. Saying this though it says not to loOK at another mans wife with sexual thoughts. I take it this way, it is ok to masturbate by yourself as long as you are not looking at porn or thinking of having sex with anybody else but your wife.
I know I do some times

masturbating falls under the sin: You (thou) shall not commit adultery. Masturbating is a selfish act of the Gift of Sex that God has given us to share in the bounds of marriage. When we go outside that boundry then it is sin.
I have been not accepting victory for the last 40+ years. I have set goals, deadlines. The only way to overcome is to allow Jesus to guide your life. This I have not allowed and probably hell (lake of fire) bound.

According to the King james version bible, it is. There is a verse that says something like "it is better for a man to spill his seed into the belly of a whore, than on the ground". But look at it this way, you can go **** a whore and it`s less of a sin than to jerk off.

sin is a relative word dear... if your religion says it is wrong so it is a sin for u...
u cant decide wat is sin or not urself.... it is ur religion and ur belief on religion which decides it...
from us u can just ask whether it is medically unfit or not...
and it is not absolutely...
u can do it as much as u want without any physical affect...
but is u feel like u ve done something wrong after doing it then it is no point doing something just for fun sake which u regret later
