No one is winning actually, there are polls and depending on who is conducting the polls you'll get different answers as to who is the more popular at the time. It is really too early to know who will emerge as the candidates. Until then its all just propaganda being thrown around trying to smear each other's candidacy. To watch you should divide your time equally between CNN and FOX News. CNN reports with favorable leanings toward the democrats and FOX toward the republicans. A candidate not in either party is largely unnoticed.

The election isn't until November 2008. Any good news site like CNN can give you info on how the primaries are going, who's leading in the Republican and Democratic parties for those parties nominations.
