I just bought an acer 19 inch lcd montior model X191WSD and it came with a vga and dvi cable.

My computer a :HPa730n desktop doesn't have a dvi port how could I get this hooked up for maximum quality and how much is it going to cost me ? Would I see a big difference in the picture?

thanks to anyone that can help

If your computer doesn't have a dvi port it won't make any difference even if you use the dvi cable.
If you want to use high quality dvi, you'll have to buy a graphics card like this one:

Go to Radio Shack. Just today I was there and saw a bunch of DVI etc adapters.

If you don't got a DVI output on the PC you're gonna have to use the VGA connetor on the monitor till you get a new DVI enabled video card

if u do not have a dvi out port on ur computer dont worry about it. u will not notice a big diffrence, its just a little more sharper. if u rly want to use dvi, get a graphics card 4 ur computer with a dvi out port. getting a new graphic card depends on ur computer and mobo.
