You body actually becomes "attuned" to a certain amount of sleep, and sleeping longer than that sets up false triggers in your system and pushes back into another "cycle" of sleep, which you've then interrupted prematurely. It is better for you to maintain a steady pattern of waking and sleeping. I know -- I am highly prone to migraines and sleeping that extra 2 hours on the weekend will often trigger one for me. Doctor explained it to me, so now I just get up.

Well one reason this might be happening is that you have different stages of sleep. Each person's stages last different amounts of time so you cant really say to sleep a certain amount. However if you wake up and interrupt your "REM" or Rapid Eye Movement cycle you are more likely to feel fatigued the next morning, so you could try to get slightly more sleep to finish the cycle. Some people also are just drowsy when they wake up and it is hard to get moving because they are not motivated. I find when i sleep on a less comfortable surface i awake faster and don't feel like sleeping in much.

You need to exercise more and get a better diet plan...I would imagine you also have a problem with snoring....once you start to work out and get into a good diet the bad sleep and snoring will gradually go away....you need to understand that if you don't do something now that the longer you wait the worse your body and sleep will get...I would also say that you should go see a doctor, but they will tell you exactly what I just did. Your energy is based on what you eat and what you do for exercise everyday.

Sleeping more than 8 hours will make you want to sleep more, sleeping less than 6 hours will make you tired too. It's just how our bodies are. Keep it in between 6-8 hours per night, no more, no less.

You body is not on a time schedule. Go to bed and get up the same time every day and you won't feel so drowsy.

You're body is getting adjusted to getting the extra sleep and craves it. Make yourself skip your naps and set your alarm for a few days to only sleep 8 hours to get your body re-adjusted.

because when u sleep to much u used to that u sleep long ,but when u weak up early your body is used to sleep longer that why u are tired when u not sleeping .the normal man need to sleep 8h so u try sleeping 8h ok

lol, that happens to me like all the time! i think its becuz the more you sleep the more u get used to it and u get more drowsy but really if u bothered to get up u will be wide awake
