Tar is just the residue from burning. It isn't the same thing as tar on a road or rooftop. Any plant would also have tar but would vary in composition depending of the composition of the plant. When you subject organic compounds to high temperature, they react with oxygen and each other and vaporize. Tar is that vapor condensed.. If weed has more tar as was suggested, it also seems to have less of whatever causes lung cancer or possibly something to help prevent it.

its not necessarily "tar" like on the streets or rooftops. its just plant residue but for weed its known a ressin. its almost pure tHc. its gets you much higher than weed itself(well considering its almost pure tHc, why wouldnt it). let it dry before handling it. it actually sticks like tar when wet.
