Yes!!! John Smoltz is a HOF. And heres why: he is the only pitcher that has 150 saves and 200 wins, and also he has the most post season victories of all time! How many pitchers can see that they own both of those credentials? I'll tell how many, none! Only John Smoltz. In my mind John Smoltz has been of the greatest pitchers ever to play this game.

Eventually, yes, in his time, I think so.

Eck is the only HOF pitcher who even remotely comps him, with the dual starter/reliever career, and Smoltz stands well next to him.

Yes he is and he is still proving why he shluld be. The only pitcher in MLB history to have 200 wins and 150 saves. Ohhh and not to mention that he already has a World Series ring. And not to mention his amazing postseason record he has.

Yes! I believe I saw he's in the top five for pitching win shares in the past 20+ seasons. He's also had quite a memorable career regardless of the numbers. The writers love him.

Yes! He is numbers are unreal. I forget the exact stat but he is the only player with a lot of wins and saves. He has been great at both roles.

i would say yes. All those years he lead the Braves to the post-season. It was really exciting to see him and Glavine together. I would say yes.

A no doubter. He didn't need it, but his superior years as a stopper really seals the deal. He's an icon.
