Well since everyone has been on Vick's nut's for the past week let me ask you this. Who heard about Odell Thurman of the bengal's who last year refused a drug test (got suspended 4 games) the got busted with a DUI (suspended the rest of the year. And now he tried to get reinstated but the dictatorship of the NFL now wouldn't let him back in. (he wen't to his AA classes and passed em) I belive this is bullshit and the commish is just being an *** on this one what do ya'll think???

(remember this)

Pac man jones- making it rain (bullets also) 10 games
Vick- 4 games (as of now)
Johnson- what is it 8 games (don't quote me)

This guy gets 2 years away from the NFL???

It's like this. If the commissioner were to kick him out for life the players union would have a hissy. So suspend them a year at a time until they are to old to play anymore. I hope he will do the same with M.Vick and A.Jones.

Lets hope all the new players coming in are watching all of this and learning from it!

Side note - I have some questions that I need some more answers on. I'd love to hear from all of you! Click on my profile and check them out. Thanks all.

I think the Commish did act a little unjust...the incidents happen last year! Like you said he completed everything he needed to do...he already sat out 1 year! He couldn't have waited for this Vick thing to blow over because he needs to be in Training Camp NOW! I think Goodell is taking this tuff guy thing to another level. He was JUST in some of the earlier cases but not now. Its one thing to let the players know you mean business BUT don't lose everyone's respect along the way!

Maybe Thurman was an idiot for asking for reinstatement while the Vick thing is hanging over the entire NFL...He should wait until Vick's situation is resolved one way or the other...Obviously, the commissioner is not in a giving mood...and I wouldn't be either at the moment...

Easy....they should all be kicked out of the league!!!

They do not have a right to play in the NFL if they cannot play by the rules....that goes for NFL rules as well as the law (thats a gimmie though)...drugs, steriods, dui, guns....kick em out. We dont need drunk, loaded, roid raging, dumbasses with guns running aroung with a million dollars.

If you want to play the game, then play the game...follow the rules...conduct..the law....or get out.....or go to the NBA hahahaha

There's a new sheriff in town. His name is Roger, Roger Goodell. There will be no minimal sentences under his watch. Justice will be swift and sure. I hope these guys are paying attention or Sundays will be like watching the replacement teams.

They should all be kick out of the NFL. They get paid millions of dollars, it's not that hard to stop acting like Thugs and obey the laws.
