One where at the end everything turns out great and it just makes you want to smile and cry at the same time becuase you're so happy for the character.

For me it's a tie between,"Last Holiday," and,"I Am Sam." How about you? Now adays, all we see is horror and graphic movies with no happy end, just death. I'm a bit tired of it all, give me something happy for a change. You know?

Oooo thats hard. Um pride and prejudice was pretty amazing. And Pirates of the Carribbean 1 was really good.

I totally agree with you about the horror and death movies!!! I thought you were supposed to enjoy movies, but now you leave terrified and sad. Like Old Yeller, geeze, kill off the hero!! And like war movies? Basically everyone dies. Everyone.

But on the flip side, being scared is sort of fun when you're with your friends. Some movies are just really really good, but they're filled with death and sadness. Troy, for example. Excellent movie, but they kill they guy you root for the most! It all just depends on the mood you're in.

"Without a Trace". This is an old one...from 1983, I think. The movie is very sad because it's about the search for a little boy who was abducted on his way to school and later presumed dead. The ending is happy and I cried even after seeing it multiple times.

"I Wanna Hold Your Hand", a fictional account about a group of Jersey teenagers going to NY to see the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. It was silly and goofy and a lot of fun, plus it had some great Beatles songs in it. :-)
