You know, there are a lot of sites out there with helpful information about music, or certain sites with things that I like a little bit better than others, but altogether I probably go to 3-5 different music information sites to gather all of the information that I need at times. And honestly, imdb.com is just about THE ONLY site I go to when I need just about ANY information about almost any movie, from quotes, to trailors, to spoofs, to who it was that played the lady walking through the park with the yellow umbrella...because I could probably find something like that if I went looking for it in a specific movie. And I've just yet to really find THAT site for me for music....I know it's constantly growing and everything is always needing to be updated....but with all the movies in existence....if they can do it with movies, they can do it with music....
Sorry....Its a bit....lengthy....I just...want that perfect website damnit! :) lol :) I guess I'm overly passionate...oh well

www.gracenote.com is a resourcing database for music as well as a search engine.
I locate the track on imdb.com and then do a backwards lookup on Gracenote for the rest of the tracks or more info.
If you want to find specific music, that's where to look, but I doubt if you're going to locate an album or track with info as detailed as a song title typo on an Oasis album (see source) unless it has been already been posted someplace like Wikipedia (sample posted in source).
