are you really learning about ID in your biology class? where do you live? ID is indeed not a theory because a theory requires two things. One, it must describe the underlying cause to a series of observations. Two (where ID breaks down), it must be able to predict future occurrences of the given statement. This is to say that a scientist who makes a theory will hand this theory over to another scientist and say "here's an idea, you do a similar experiment and see if my theory can predict what the outcome will be before it actually occurs." The closer the prediction and better the explanation, the more 'faith' (to be facetious) is put into a given theory. You cant prove a theory (you cant prove anything, actually,) but you can adhere to strict scientific methodology to be as certain as possible.
the "theory" of intelligent design only puts forth a statement about what could have caused the appearance of life, but in no way is it testable beyond your own personal belief.
btw, the above statements are right, its C-A-C-A ;)
and another thing! the fact that B is even a choice in #4 is borderline insulting! (though i guess its balanced out by choice A) any ID advocate that tells you that biological systems are 'pure randomness and thus not statistically possible' does not understand evolution and merely feels the need to drown themselves in a pool of misguided 'factoids'

4. None of the above.
Intelligent Design is not a theory. It is a speculation. There is no evidence which directly supports Intelligent Design; there is no direct evidence of an Intelligent Designer or Designers.
5. A
6. Huh? C
This is a horrible attempt at the definition of allele! Your teacher (or whomever wrote this question) sucks. Same for Question Four. Tell him real biologists said so.
An allele is one of several alternate sequences for the same specific gene locus.
7. There can be no answer for this.
Intelligent Design is not a science. It's thinly disguised religious dogma. See "your teacher sucks" above.

4 A but whoever asked the question is probably looking for C as the answer.
5. A
6. C
7 A but again loaded question because it assumes that ID is a science.. which it isn't... all in all this series of questions that you have posted seem more like an ideologically motivated questionaire than it does a real series of biological questions...

4 c (the correct answer, although I would say a)
5 a
6 c
7 a (although I disagree with the term 'christian scientist'. There are lots of christian scientists who are NOT creation 'scientists'.
