I concur with the "recent vintage' answers. Going back into the archives, I would add Cecil Isbell/Arnie Herber and the great Don Hutson from the 30's/40s', Otto Graham and Dante Lavelli from the 50's; Johnny Unitus and Raymond Berry/Jimmy Orr from the 60's.

Manning-Harrison ranked one according to NFL Networks best passing combinations, but there is still no one better than Rice out there. I liked the Montana-Rice combo myself, then Young-Rice.

You have to go with Montana-Rice duo. Someday I do believe we will all agree that it is Manning-Harrison, but since they are both still playing I don't think you can give it to them just yet.

There are three I can think of.

1. Montana/Rice
2. Bradshaw/Swann
3. Manning/Harrison

Well when you say duo, i think of Quarterback-receiver and quarterback-running back.
Montana-Rice San Francisco (Pass)
Vick-Dunn Atlanta (Run) (Both rushed for 1000 yards in '06)
