i cant come to work pops, i was kidnapped by jigsaw... you know who he is right? yeah thats crazy flucker who torutures people and all. well anyways, as it stands i am currently in a basement with only a match and my celll phone. i am chained to a dead body. and see the only way i can escape is to light this dead guy on fire so it will burn the ropes that tie me to him. anyhow i must pass the test first. you understand right?"

Here's a couple of wacky excuses:
A buffalo escaped from the game reserve and kept charging you every time you tried to go to your car from your house.
You was feeling all the symptoms of your expecting wife.
Your wife said you couldn't come into work because you had a lot of chores to do around the house.
One of the walls in your home fell off the night before.
Your mother was in jail.
A skunk got into the your house and sprayed all of your uniforms.
You had bad hiccups.
You blew your nose so hard, your back went out.
Your dog swallowed your bus pass.

I went out of town this weekend and was in a car accident (friend was driving). I'm okay, but sore. I'll be in tomorrow. Call me if you need anything.
Worked for me once. Just don't tell anywone you work with the truth and don't give too many details (you might forget). :)

I'm very sorry, I am unable to come into work today (Monday). I had a total melt down over the weekend. I dont think I can make it. I am crying and blubbering. I just really will be useless to u today. Again I am sorry.

Your not allowed in work if you have any signs of food poisoning, its against the law. They'll tell you to stay off for 48 hrs.
