help with makeup?

Question

I want to do that thing where if your eyes are brown you use a certain palette of colors... but the thing is i have black eyes... they are a really really really dark brown. everyone says they are black! what colors do i use?

My brother and my dad have the same thing except they don't have the problem with the makeup.
Since your eyes are so dark, I would use a color pallet that contrasts them to bring them out and make them pop.
Purple eye shadow is really in right now so I would try this pallet in Plum Seduction

Another thing to do would be to line your eyes in either a charcoal or a black. For this eyeliner try black or dark gray.

You also need a mascara and I would use just a regular black. Here is a good, inexspensive one.

Get it in Very Black (waterproof). You can find it at almost every store that sells makeup.

You don't have "black" eyes, there just dark brown. I do have tthe same eye color. In fact having dark brown eyes are beautiful! COlors that go are neautral colors, beige, brown or pink.
Also gold/yellow looks amazing!
Greens also go. The best though would be shimmery browns and beige they really bring out dark brown eyes

Remember to chose colors that complement your skin tone too. Here's how to determine yours:

Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.

Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.

If you have a warm skin tone, then you will want colors that have a bit of yellow or brown in them - e.g. deep navy or brick red.

If you have a cool skin tone, then you want colors that are more jewel like - e.g. true sapphire or cobalt blue.

I'm betting that you can get away with nearly any color you want!

Have you considered going somewhere like ULTA and asking them? Usually they will actually do your eyes so you can see how it looks and if you like it. Then you can 'think' about it before buying (chose someone with makeup that you like to ask, cuz people tend to do makeup on others about as heavy as they do it on themselves - if not a little heavier).

blue's and green's will look nice, also pinks and lavenders. really you should be able to pull off any colours as you should put the opposite eye shadow on to the colour of your eyes. I would say really match your eye shadow to the colour clothes you are wearing that day!
