That's a pretty sexist question.

I don't know what country you live in, but in the U.S. woman alway get child custody and child support. A woman will even get a portion way above what is needed to support the children. Look at celebrities that get millions in child support. The guy even has to pay alimoney if he suspect his wife cheated on him and the children aren't his. Maybe you live in the middle east or Asia.
If you're refering to particular men, stop complaining because you chose the wrong man. Next time get a nice guy. I'm sick of woman turning down 'nice guys', go for jerks then complaining about all men.

If you're talking about divorce then there isn't necessarily an easy way out.
Sit down and let me tell you a story!
One fine day ,I,as a member of Her majesty's forces, was posted to the Falklands for 4 months,oh by the way I was married with 2 little girls, one aged 2 and the other 4,where was I,oh yes, anyone who's ever been to that dump will tell you that from day one you are looking towards getting home to your loved ones.
Everything was hunky dory, all the mail and phone calls were fine (full of all the sloppy stuff).
So anyway after a crap four months in what i called a prison,at last i was on my way home.
So after a 20 hour flight and a 180 mile drive I finally arrive into the bosom of my family,so after a few hello's and playing with the kids (who'd forgotten who i was by now ),I dully fell asleep on the settee, only to open my eyes to find my wife standing in front of me,then out of the blue she said "i want a divorce"Imagine the hammer blow...
Any way off i went back to my UK unit where divorce proceedings started to roll.
While I was away she'd been shagging everybody in the village and had obviously found the one she wanted "after a lot of test drives".
So off we went to court to sort out custody,I put my case forward that she was an unfit mother because firstly she was with a different fella most of the time ,with whom she was leaving my kids while she went out playing pool with her mates or boozing till the early hours (who knows what might have gone on),also that if i had to go any where with the military then there are professional nannies who look after your kids,as they do when you are at work during the day.
When all she said was that I'd abandoned her by going where the military had sent me,I was desperate to get my girls so i went back to court again and again, but each time the answer was the same ,Full custody to the mother with visiting rights to be mutually decided.
So every thing went OK until one weekend when i turned up to MY house to find it empty (i mean completely empty, not even a light bulb left) and a note pinned to the back door saying that she'd gone,to where, she didn't say,so i was left with a house with 6 months unpaid mortgage and no kids and the CSA to pay (by the way i asked them and they wouldn't tell me).
Any way this went on for years when all of a sudden i got a phone call off my youngest daughter then the next day off my eldest, they didn't want to say where they had got my number from,so i thought after all these years that my ex wife had mellowed , but when i spoke to her on the phone she started ranting at me that I'd abandoned them again and she'd told the CSA as much.
So much for the bloke getting away with the easiest way out,Ha
And they all lived bitterly ever after..........

Because they are NOT men. A real man will not walk out on his family, unless it is something horrible, however, he should remember he brought a child in the world or children.
Some women also make it easy for them, by giving up. Most courts will award the mother custody, provided she is unfit which is hard to do.
Then when you think about it they do not ALWAYS have the easiest way out, if you pursue the situation you can have the courts garnish salaries...

I have two male friends that have full custody of their children so i wouldn't make that assumption just because your ex is a loser.. there are a lot of great guys out there.. look harder this time. Good luck
i have to agree with jxt299!!! woman get the kids in most cases unless they are losers like my two friends wife's and they leave there kids behind!! men have to pay child support and are only allowed to see the kids every other weekend.. how far is that when you get them every day!!

What do you mean easiest out? They still are supposed to pay child support...some even take primary custody of the children.
If no kids are involved then both parties have it equally easy/difficult. You go your separate ways and start a new chapter in life.

because historically women are the ones who keep the children. up until not too long ago, there may have been a question as to whether a man was the father of the child, but no question as to whether a woman was the mother.
besides i think women generall bond earlier with their children and so they are not apt to let them go, hence, the men go
of course, men then do without their children and they may WANT to be involved, but don't want the hassle of dealing with the woman
also women have been known to be deceitful by getting pregnant to trap a guy or having him adopt her children form a previous relationship and then dumping the guy - which means he stuck paying child support for a child that is not his!
it's a two way street

because most of them and i say most there some nice men out there , when it comes to children or having to commit to a child they become cowards. Afraid of there responsibility's as a father, they prefer to be men before being fathers. they will always find there way out , the easiest way for them.

You aren't talking about divorce cases, are you? The wives almost always get the kids and if she remarries and moves away Dad has only his memories of his beloved children. Guys have feelings. We can love. We can love our children. And it hurts very bad to have them taken away just because the courts ALWAYS side with the women.

Oh, yeah. You mean like getting divorced and paying twice or three times as much money in child support as you ever spent on the kids when you were married? Or were you referring to alimony?

I don't believe that they do. They have it tougher in certain other areas of life and women do too. It all balances out. I guess it's difficult for women to see how hard men have it, just like it is difficult for men to see how hard women have it.
